Ohio State Council of Machinists Politics & the Union  We do put out the literature that is supplied by the Grand Lodge, and AFL-CIO organizations. Our endorsement procedures are handled by our delegates to the Labor Councils in our area and to the Ohio AFL-CIO they know and see the published voting records, the issues in detail etc.and participate in the endorsing procedure. What we as a council want, is for every member to be a registered voter, for every member to participate and for some of our members to get involved and run for some of these positions. We also encourage participation in the MNPL Machinists Non-Partisan Political League. This is the Politcal arm of the Machinists Union. Voluntary Donations, fund raisers etc. NO dues dollars are used. We want our members educated on the issues. Are you ready? Are you prepared? |
